The Role

As a Payroll Business Analyst, you will act as an interface between the NZ Payroll team as part of our Finance, Strategy and Performance Unit and other Fletcher Building Business Units or departments to deliver T&A and payroll projects to enable operational efficiencies to payroll processes and business operations across the group. You will also standardise and improve NZ payroll operating practices across those BU’s supported by NZ payroll to be in line with best practices and promote best in class.

You will build strong key stakeholder relationships and manage any system queries, investigating and resolving issues that arise and training users on new processes. You will also generate several reports for the Technology and Payroll managers. 

About You

With a background in both project management and payroll, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You will have 1 to 2 years of functional business analyst experience, preferably in a large payroll or finance function.

Technically competent, you will have an analytical mind-set coupled with an exceptionally high level of attention to detail. You will also be able to take initiative and hold strong problem solving capabilities.Your role is paramount to ensuring Payroll operates efficiently and effectively and as such you will enjoy taking ownership and demonstrating problem solving skills, assisting others, and working collaboratively. 

Chris21, ADI, Workforce Software and Kronos experience is highly preferable.
