The Strategy & Portfolio team acts as a centre of excellence within Group Finance & Performance to provide high quality insights, guidance and advice on key strategic initiatives across the Group. This includes corporate strategy development & planning; evaluation & execution of mergers & acquisitions (M&A) projects; analyses & reporting of customer & market insights; and other special strategic projects as directed by the Executive.
About the role
We have a rare & exciting opportunity for a high performing individual to join the team. Reporting to the General Manager of Strategy & Portfolio, the primary function is to support the analysis, reporting and tracking of meaningful customer & market insights. The focus is on facilitation of the Net Promoter Score (“NPS”) programme across the Group, and providing robust analyses (both quantitative & qualitative) to support the generation of deep insights into key trends impacting the business.
The role provides an opportunity to:
- Support in the day-to-day administration, analyses & reporting of the Groupwide NPS programme – playing a pivotal role to ensure our businesses can continue to be customer-centric and continuously improve the experience of our customers
- Generate, interpret and analyse critical market & economic insights (including key macroeconomic indicators, broker research, and global & local market trends)
- Provide ad-hoc support on other Strategy & Portfolio initiatives (incl. M&A)
You’ll be tertiary qualified with core skills in research & analysis, numerical reasoning, and problem solving. You don’t need to have any work experience in this field (albeit this would be viewed positively) – we are looking for someone with a genuine interest in customer & market insights.
Key to succeeding in this role will be your interpersonal skills, including your ability to build meaningful relationships across the business, often with key senior leaders. Ambition and drive will also play an integral part to your success. This will be coupled with strong verbal & written communication skills, excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills, as well as the intellectual curiosity and motivation to support further growth in the role.
This is a highly visible role (in a team of highly capable and engaged people), where you’ll get exposure to a wide array of projects and key stakeholders across the Group.
