The role

We have an exciting opportunity in this role for an experienced Account Manager with a strong Sales background to develop and foster relationships throughout the Construction and Group Home Builders segments of the market, to secure Mico products into project plans/specifications and design and build opportunities.

Reporting to the National Key Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that Mico products are the product-of-choice amongst GHB companies, as well as generating and channelling sales for these groups. You’ll identify, pursue and secure leads, and ensure the conversion of these into quotes, orders and sales, through the GHB groups, growing and strengthening our existing customer base.

About you

You’ll bring your natural drive to identify new opportunities for business growth, while ensuring that our customers are provided with the ongoing exceptional levels of service they’ve come to expect from Mico. Your customer-centric and solutions-focused attitude to your customers and the business will ensure your success in this fast-paced role.

Your ability to build rapport and relationships will be your strength. Your existing network within the Group Home Build sector is a must, and while knowledge of our industry or related industries will be a huge benefit, but being an agile learner will serve you well.

A strong personal and work ethic is essential, and you’ll operate according to the importance of giving your word to your customers and making them and their needs your priority. Being able to build positive work relationships with the team and work collaboratively with them, will contribute to your own success as much as to the success of our business.

The flexibility to travel throughout the Auckland region is a must for this role, to stay in touch with your customers. Attending customer and company events is occasionally required, but we’re a business that’s mindful of a healthy work-life balance.
