We have an opportunity available for an experienced Project Manager – Pavement and Road Construction to join the Green Team at our Levin Branch in Horowhenua. Reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for running a variety of key projects along our State Highway with a focus on safety improvements, road construction, guardrails, pavement rehabilitation and shoulder widening to name a few. What you’ll bring to the role: • Civil Engineering Degree or Diploma • A strong focus on Clients and relationships • A strong focus on cost control and quality outcomes. • Understanding of the Construction Contracts Act and knowledge of NZS3910 is desirable • Full clean Class 1 New Zealand Driver’s License • Strong commitment to health and safety not just your own but your colleagues and the public • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to think for yourself You will have a minimum of 5 years experience, within road construction, and be able to show demonstrated leadership skills and an advanced knowledge base and network within the industry.
