The Opportunity

Supporting our Lower North Island Branches, you will work in partnership with management teams and staff, so building and maintaining trusted relationships and transparency with all levels of staff and our contractors is crucial. 

You will have boots on the ground to coach in the field providing technical advice across a range of roles by providing inhouse training modules based on critical risk areas, whilst developing and delivering training packages based on business needs.  You will complete competency assessments for staff operating plant and equipment, ensuring additional competency assessments are developed as required.  Your will be passionate about identifying training needs and pathways for our teams whilst supporting the simplification of standard operating procedures.

What you will have
A passion to inspire and influence people
Civil construction industry experience preferred either as a trainer/assessor or in an operational role looking to come off the tools and share their skills
Demonstrated competency in the operation of pland and equipment
Knowledge of industry qualifications advantageous ie. Connexis
Ideally Holds unit standard 4098 (Assessor unit) & 7114 (coaching adult learners)
A strong health and safety focus
An ability to deliver user-friendly, fit for purpose EHS resources designed around frontline users
Strong verbal and written communication, workshop facilitation and interpersonal skills
Strong computer literacy
