Iplex Pipelines is the leading pipeline systems supplier to New Zealand’s infrastructure market. We are part of the Fletcher Building Products Division which has 6 leading business brands.

We have a Dynamic People and Performance Manager position available for an HR professional looking to partner with the General Manager and the leadership team as the business continues to develop and enhance performance & culture and customer leading solutions. 

Location, location, location…

We have 3 location options to consider, ideally the role would be based in Palmerston North where our main manufacturing site is located, there would also be a requirement to travel to our other locations from time to time. We have a secondary site in Christchurch which would be an option for the right candidate and travel would be required at least 2 times a month. Our third option would see you based in Auckland (our support office) and the need to travel would be increased in year one to every fortnight to get established and provide the necessary support to the business.

This is an all-encompassing role, where you will provide support in all operational & strategic areas of Human Resources with particular focus on culture and talent, attraction and retention, performance and capability across all areas of the operation. To enable that, you will ideally have 6-7 years’ experience in an HR generalist role or similar with particular skills in relationship management, learning and development, employee relations and Diversity and Inclusion and influence ~230 employees.

You will engage all levels within the business through a pragmatic and solution-based approach to ensure your advice is sought after. You will display strong relationship management skills and have sound business acumen, previous manufacturing business experience would be desirable and you would be guided by your strong values set.
