The Role

As a Payroll Administrator, you’ll be joining a friendly, dedicated and passionate team. You’ll be responsible for performing accurate and timely payroll processing tasks which support payroll operational activity. These duties are performed in accordance with company procedures and Business Unit requirements covering tasks across Time and Attendance inputs, payroll and payroll compliance.

The role is responsible for ensuring all contractual terms and conditions, service level agreements, company policy and relevant employment legislation are adhered to. The role will also act as a Payroll Partner on specific payrolls when required, so it’s a great opportunity to step up and process payroll from end to end.

About you

To be considered you’ll have at least 2 years of Payroll experience with collective employment agreements, high volumes, and New Zealand business environments. You’ll be NZPPA Certified Level 3+ or ready to sit certification. Your excellent knowledge of Employment Legislation and New Zealand Holidays Act will see you succeed in this role, as will an ability to perform off system payroll calculations to ensure system configuration delivers expected outcomes. This will be coupled with experience in interpreting CEAs and IEAs to support the set up and maintenance of pay rules in time and attendance systems.
