The Role:

Based at our Kaiwharawhara branch, working Tuesday to Saturday, you will play an integral role within our busy branch. As the Showroom Team Leader you will be responsible for leading a small team that are focused on trade counter sales and customer service across the shop floor.  Alongside this, you will also manage and coordinate the following: 

  • Internal events
  • In-store advertising and promotions 
  • Visual merchandising and displays
  • Product ordering 
  • Liaising with the Inventory team
  • Team training and development

About You:

Your hands-on attitude, fantastic organisation skills and awesome work ethic is essential. You will be a great communicator, enjoy building a good rapport with both your team and our customers alike, and be comfortable with flexibility, using your own initiative and taking the lead.

Being customer centric with a passion for exceptional service, you lead by example and have proven leadership experience that engages and encourages your team to do their best.  You care about the little things and have an impeccable eye for detail when it comes to product/store presentation and enjoy thinking outside the box to ensure overall objectives are met.  

With a positive and outgoing personality, you enjoy a varied role within a fast-paced environment and can also demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in the building industry, retail or consumer showroom environment
  • Experience supervising or leading a team
  • Strong communication skills with ability to delegate appropriately
  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
  • Effective time management, organisation and planning skills
  • Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A commitment to continuously review process and implement improvements
