PlaceMakers Invercargill is seeking a Trade Support Team Member to join their busy team servicing our valued commercial and trade customers.
Working closely with our Account Managers, you’ll provide relevant and accurate pricing information so they can also deliver a positive customer experience from start to finish. This is a very busy role in a fast-paced environment with plenty of variety. The working hours are between Monday and Friday, with flexibility. Daily responsibilities will be –
• Receive incoming calls or emails from trade customers
• Daily and weekly planning with account managers to ensure all opportunities are captured
• Providing customers with product advice & discussing tailored solutions
• Follow-up customer inquiries and orders with suppliers and despatch
• Handle general price enquiries
• Source and Order special goods
• Liaising with inventory and dispatch regarding orders and deliveries
• Dealing with suppliers around new products and specifications
You will be part of our wider customer service and sales team where you will make sales-related calls to trade and commercial customers, provide quotes/pricing, process orders, follow up on deliveries, source specialty products and resolve customer enquiries.
You’re a vibrant individual that is self-motivated, highly organised and able to work under pressure. Ideally, you’ll have previous experience within a sales or customer service environment with excellent communication skills and attention to detail ensuring that our customer remains at the centre of everything you do. Previous experience in the building industry is preferred. You love working at a pace and providing solutions.
