Group Organisational Development (OD) is a centralised function charged with delivering strategic people and culture initiatives that help Fletcher Building achieve its goal of being a high performing organisation. 

We need to attract and retain talented people from diverse backgrounds with a range of different perspectives and experiences to enable new ways of thinking that drive growth and deliver customer outcomes.  Our OD initiatives focus on building the capabilities that will enable our people to lead our industry and developing the mindsets needed to foster a culture of safety, innovation, and inclusion.

About the role
We have two fantastic opportunities for experienced OD professionals to join our Group OD team. As an OD Business Partner you will collaborate with key stakeholders to co-design and implement commercially relevant strategic people initiatives across Fletcher Building that drive improved performance. These roles are key to delivering our People Plan and will lead a broad range of OD initiatives that may include Culture and Engagement, Leadership Development, Inclusion and Diversity, Performance Management, Talent and Capability.

These are true business partnering roles which requires understanding of the business, it’s key strategic priorities, and effective stakeholder management skills.

About you
You will be a highly skilled OD professional with at least 5 years’ experience and a strong track record of designing OD initiatives that deliver business outcomes within a fast-paced, complex environment. We are looking for people with broad OD experience, a champion for culture, and an effective collaborator and influencer, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  

One role will have a strong focus on Inclusion & Diversity so if you come equipped with proven experience in this area, this will set you up for success. 

Strong change management and project management experience would also be highly advantageous.
