CSP is New Zealand’s leading manufacturer and distributor of road safety barriers, barricades and safety cushions, along with lighting, telecoms and security poles to the construction and infrastructure industry.  We have been involved in projects throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific for the last four decades which, at their heart, intend to help keep people safe.

We have an exciting newly created role for an experienced Production Supervisor (or as a step up role if you aspire to supervise a team) to join our CSP team in Onehunga.  Reporting to the Production Manager, we are looking for a leader who can manage the day-to-day function of production as well “leading from the front” with 8 direct reports.

You will also be responsible for:
Ensure site health and safety and environmental compliance, is practiced
Overseeing job allocation to ensure customer deliveries requirements are met
Be the link between planning and production
Work with engineering to ensure designs are fit for manufacture
Quality control
Support staff with opportunities around development and training

About You
• Ideally, you’ll bring 2+ years production leadership experience within a manufacturing environment, but we are keen to talk to you if you aspire to move up in your career to take on a supervisor role
• Welding experience is of advantage! (Not essential) 
• Have strong knowledge in Engineering or Fabrication 
• Comfortable in a high-pressured environment as we work in a made to order environment
• Ability to interpret plans and drawings
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable operating computer systems and learning new processes
