Our Mico Mount Maunganui store is a well-established and successful branch, boasting a beautiful showroom while also providing trade solutions to a large and loyal trade customer base, residential solutions to home builders and commercial solutions to the local business sector.
We have an exciting role where you’ll join a well-established branch and enjoy the variety and opportunities of working in a small but experienced team, within a large organisation. At our Mount Maunganui branch, we’re committed to improving our customer experience, and we want our staff to have the same passion.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is a varied role that will see you working in the warehouse, receiving and sorting incoming deliveries, picking/packing and dispatching orders for delivery to our customers. Not only will you work in our Inwards Goods, you’ll also have the opportunity to spend time behind the Trade Counter, ensuring that your customers, who are made up of tradies, businesses and home-owners, are greeted with a cheerful smile and exceptional service. And you’ll drive deliveries out to businesses, worksites and customers around the area, providing a great customer experience, wherever you go!
You’ll have the chance to learn our products, and this will give you the chance to progress in the branch, the business, and the organisation. Product or industry knowledge would be a real bonus, but we have heaps of great training materials, if you’re a willing learner!
This is a permanent, fulltime role working Mondays to Fridays, with rostered Saturdays 8-12.
To shine in this role, you’ll bring a customer-focused attitude and strong work ethic to the business and be prepared to work closely and flexibly with the rest of our team. The ability to build rapport and relationships should be your strength, and you’ll be IT savvy, too.
There may be some manual handling required, and so you’ll need to be physically fit. A full, clean, class 1 drivers’ licence is required and a forklift licence would be a real bonus!
