About The Role

The Senior Functional Business Analyst is a senior expert in one or more areas of enterprise systems and associated business functional areas. They will be a key participant in the development of a new ERP system and related business process changes. The Senior Functional Business Analyst will be responsible for defining, analyzing, modelling, testing and documenting the requirements for all changes to the Model Company at both the BU and divisional levels. The Senior Functional Business Analyst may configure the solution in conjunction with our System Integrator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key business users and stakeholders to elicit specific Business Unit requirements, including as-is and to-be gap analysis, solution design, process modelling etc. for the new ERP solution
  • Provide business expertise on their processes related knowledge to review optimise "Model Company" solutions and ensure it is fit for purpose across all BU’s.
  • Lead, develop and manage, in conjunction with the System Integrator, configuration changes 
  • Lead, develop and publish test plans in collaboration with key stakeholders and end users
  • Implement, manage and document unit, integration and regression test plans, working with key stakeholder and end users to ensure the end product is fit for purpose
  • Support the development and publication of critical end user documentation along with technical documentation needed to support the enterprise solution
  • Support end user training activities as required
  • Lead the implementation of "edge systems" as required to fill scope gaps in the "Model Company"
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships within the project and wider Fletcher Building to support knowledge sharing, collaboration and team activities
  • Be a trusted advisor to the business 
  • Work with external suppliers of products and services used to deliver solutions to the business divisions
  • Support and mentor junior staff.

About You

  • At least 7 years of relevant business analysis and process modelling experience
  • Extensive experience in financial processes (AR, AP, FA, GL)
  • Experience supporting enterprise & business applications within manufacturing, construction, distribution or supply chain organisation
  • Subject matter expert in both enterprise applications and business processes
  • Tertiary qualification in Business/IT
