About the role
As a Service Desk Analyst based in our Prospect NSW, you will provide Level 1 technical support to our end users across Australia and some from New Zealand, responding to incidents and service requests. Most of the queries will come through via phone, email or self-service portal and your role will include call-logging, diagnosing & resolving issues, fulfilling requests, and allocating tickets requiring specialist technical support to the appropriate group. This is a Service Desk role where you take ownership of the issue from start to finish; ensure that no stones are unturned and that they are properly escalated as and when needed. You’ll be responsible for providing a great end user experience and maintaining satisfaction of end users.
To be considered for this role, you need to be able to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills and customer orientation. For us, the soft skills come first as we think technology can be learned if you have the aptitude and the passion for it. Ideally, you will have experience working on a service desk environment, have a solid knowledge of hardware - desktop and laptops, and have worked with a variety of software applications, as well as having a basic understanding of networking and operating systems.
We have a rotating roster so you'll need to be comfortable providing support on a rotational basis between 6am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, After 3 months, you'll also have the option to participate in our rotating on call roster. This role is based at our Prospect office. Because this is a permanent role, you need to be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident to be considered.
