Where your story starts: 

Located at our close-knit Bathurst site, we have an exciting opportunity for a Production Support Officer – Inventory controller to bring experience and innovation to our established team. 

You will be responsible for ensuring a high level of inventory control, production support & continuous improvement focus for inventory management Develop operating procedures relating to inventory and process control

  • Responsible for maintaining inventory requirements
  • Co-ordination of Inwards Goods 
  • Liaison with customers, inventory, schedulers, production team and external suppliers
  • Order and schedule monitoring to meet customer promise
  • Ensuring targets and KPIs are being met
  • Daily monitoring of incoming orders for inventory requirements
  • Participate in processes and identify opportunities for improvement to promote inventory accuracy
  • Uphold the strong Laminex safety values and operate under belief “all injuries are preventable” 

Role you’ll play: 

As our Production Support Officer, you will be an integral member of our supply team and continue to develop your career within an innovative and driven organization.

Leading by example, you will ideally hold:

  • 3+ years of customer service in similar manufacturing industry
  • An understanding of core business, inventory and accounting practices including financial systems knowledge 
  • Strong computer literacy, competency within Microsoft suite
  • Chain of Responsibility Qualification (desired)
  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations and activities 
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
