The Role
Based in our Penrose head office, you’ll be part of the Corporate Finance & Performance team who has oversight for performance management, indirect expenditure, reports, cash management and settlements, as well as general ledger, reconciliations and systems maintenance from a finance perspective.

The purpose of this role is to ensure a high level of quality, precision and timeliness of the accounting for and internal reporting of Fletcher Building’s corporate entities. This will see you act as the Finance Partner for Corporate Executives and their GM’s to ensure appropriate level of Opex review, cost centre management and cost reporting.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the daily Treasury settlements transactions occur effectively and efficiently through liaisons with ETOS, the Treasury team and Group Finance authorisers.  

About You
To succeed in the role, you’ll be a natural at building and managing relationships both internally and externally; at ease communicating with all levels of the business with the ability to influence and gain agreement. You bring strong financial management and analysis experience coupled with an appreciation of sound internal control mechanisms and processes. As an accounting professional you’ll be at ease working in a changing environment where process improvement is always front of mind. 

You’ll have an accounting degree and be CA / CPA qualified.  You’ll also have previous experience in a large corporate or big 4 firm and be used to communicating complex ideas to a diverse audience.  Your ability to build strong relationships, attention to detail and your well-honed systems and analysis skills will set you apart from the rest.
