The Green Team in Kāpiti are growing! We have a busy forward workload with a strong pipeline of works coming up and are looking for permanent STMS to join our Traffic Management Crew. These are some fantastic projects to be involved in, there will be loads of variety as you will also be involved in a range of Branch wide projects across the wider Region.

You will be responsible for managing all temporary traffic management aspects of a roadworks site, including site set ups, reporting of incidents, accidents and near misses and ensuring protection for all road workers and road users, traffic is directed correctly and is compliant with all necessary standards for traffic-related safety at all times.

What you’ll bring to the role:
A safety-first attitude – for yourself, your team and the public
Full clean New Zealand Driver’s License, Minimum Class 1
STMS Qualification with either Category A, B or C
Sound verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience mentoring and supervising crews
A high level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of the role
Reliable, honest and flexible
