Based in Whangarei, Golden Bay are looking to build a project team to execute our Sustainability Roadmap and broader masterplan that will allow us to deliver on our commitment to decarbonize our products while improving the efficiency of our operations and supply chain.

To help us deliver on this plan we are looking for an experience Project Engineer - Electrical

What will you do?

As a key member of the project team, you will work across multiple projects from initial scope & design to implementation and commissioning.

  • Provide input to all electrical/automation aspects of projects
  • AutoCAD Drawings, reading schematics & trouble shooting
  • Liaising with Project management, Mechanical Engineering, manufacturing, software and Installation Teams.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely production of electrical circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and layout drawings working within operational requirements
  • Process electrical engineering design changes

Ideally you will be collaborative team player that can work with the minimum of supervision, supporting change through positive engagement and involvement with others.

  • Degree level or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering experience – PLC Programming / Automation.
  • Industrial manufacturing experience.
  • Experience within automation and control system engineering.
  • Basic Project Engineering / Project Management Experience (Desirable)
