We are on the lookout for motivated, switched-on, safety focused Production Operators to join our market leading team on the border of Onehunga/ Penrose. Note: this is a fixed term contract until December 2023

The role reports to the Team Leader with an alternating shift pattern between morning and night shifts. The pattern after your initial training period is four days on (2 days (7am – 7pm) & 2 nights (7pm – 7am) and four days off.

The Role
  • Production end-to-end operation within the board manufacturing plant
  • Knowledge and application of Industrial and Personal safety behaviours
  • Process control, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
  • Replenishing lines and operating machines as required to ensure continuous production
  • Quality assurance and reporting issues or faults
  • Operating a forklift and gantry crane (training provided)
  • General manufacturing duties

About You
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment & automated material handling equipment
  • High degree of mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills
  • Current NZ License
  • Good oral and written English skills, good numeric skills
  • Physically fit with the ability to safely handle heavy equipment and product (up to 25kg)
