Help us build New Zealand! PlaceMakers is New Zealand’s leading and largest supplier of building materials to New Zealand’s commercial and residential construction markets. We employ more than 2,400 people in over 60 locations across the country and stock more than 100,000 product lines from concrete to paint and plasterboard. 
The Role:
As a Mandarin speaking Account Manager at PlaceMakers New Lynn you’ll play an integral part in keeping our valued customers on board & proactively find new business. You'll be heavily involved with regular touch points & result driven engagements. Collaborate with your team, communicate with customers around stock availability, delivery times and pricing. You’ll go to building industry & trade events to keep up to date with market trends & attract new business. You’ll be well supported & trusted to operate with flexibility in return for good results. You will be joining a growing team of 5 Account Managers in the West Hub. Have the flexibility to work from New Lynn or Westgate Branch. 

About You:
As you will play a lead role in developing brand awareness and capturing sales opportunities, your passion and knowledge of the building industry as well as your sales drive and resilience will be essential!  You will need to be fluent in Mandarin. In addition to this, you will also need to the demonstrate Excellent communication skills, as you will need to communicate at all levels. Highly motivated with exceptional work ethic. A down to earth and solutions focused approach. Focused on long term, credible relationships. Have more than 2 years experience with Proven sales methodology. Strong technical/building products knowledge. You will need to be outgoing and thrive working in a close team environment.
