The Opportunity 
There’s never been a more exciting time to join Tradelink as we expand, innovate, and offer the opportunity for a Junior Key Account Manager to join our business. 

This role will be based in our North side Brisbane head office. No more commuting to the city!  We have free onsite parking and opportunities for flexible working arrangements including working from home.

This developmental role partners with senior Key Account Managers and engages smaller customers to embed core sales skills and enhance sales within target segments. You will be trained to understand and influence internal stakeholders for maximum profitability and customer benefit.

Responsibilities include:
  • Create and execute individual sales plan that meets or exceeds stated revenue and profit targets
  • Learn key customer needs in targeted sales geography 
  • Develop core skills in prospecting/customer acquisition 
  • Communicate relevant national and state promotions to customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, pricing, new innovation and competitors.
  • Drive improvement in customer satisfaction results by taking action on customer feedback.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Liaise with branches to ensure fulfilment of service and price commitments to customers.

About you

To be successful you will have a desire to become a true sales professional, a sound understanding of the construction sector, ability to learn and adapt, and through a willingness to be hands on, deliver results of a wide variety of customers sets.
  • 3 years + industry experience and or related role 
  • A strong knowledge of customer service principals 
  • Experience with administration procedures related to filed sales i.e. quoting and pricing, sales reports. (CRM systems and account queries would be advantageous).
  • A customer service attitude and high integrity in business dealings
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • A valid driver’s licence
  • Strong computer skills, including intermediate Excel skills.
