Description:

The Role: 
PlaceMakers Mt Wellington continuously strives for excellence when it comes to our customers and the service we provide, as a result we are looking for a sale driven Power Tools Specialist within our large showroom. Manage a business within a business and really take ownership of this department. 
Working 5 days per week which will include a Saturday or Sunday, you’ll get to know your customers and the projects that they are working on, while providing expert advice on our power tool range.  There will be plenty of variety as you’ll be engaging primarily with our trade customers and developing a good base knowledge of building products and the broader industry.  

About You:
With a passion for power tools, you’ve gained a good base knowledge, whether that’s from DIY projects at home or working in a similar role previously.  You demonstrate a strong work ethic, enthusiasm, energy, and ability to thrive as part of a high performing team.  You’re flexible, willing to learn and go the extra mile for your customers, employer, and team mates as well as building long lasting customer relationships. Work well on your own as well as in a strong team environment. We are wanting someone who can treat this like their own business and meet sales targets all while delivering excellent customer service to our Trade customers.
