The Role

We need a Quantity Surveyor with a passion for their work to join our strong, supportive team. Located in Wellington, you’ll be working with a great bunch of people who are driving BPC’s strong growth and expansion.

Your responsibilities will include contract reviews, budget and cost control, forecasting, development of subcontractor and supplier agreements, claims management, commercial risk management and reporting. This role will see you supporting both the current and upcoming project portfolio.  

We’re seeking someone with a solid grounding in the civil infrastructure or buildings space, with the ability and experience to create strong links with our new business and project delivery teams. You will work across multiple projects ranging in scale and complexity and have the ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders in relation to a range of commercial activities, ensuring project contractual conditions are fully understood in relation to commercial delivery of projects.

You will be someone with relevant experience and qualifications within the construction or building industry. Your expertise will span from project setup phases, right through to final account. A key component will also be your ability to engage and monitor suppliers and subcontractors who can manage the demands of multiple projects, and a natural ability to build strong professional relationships with our clients and teams. You will have strong computer-based skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
