About the Role
As a Development Manager in the Canterbury branch, you will be instrumental in the overall strategy and delivery of residential building projects from feasibility through to handover on completion.
As well as a number of lucrative development prospects across Canterbury, this role will see you working on ‘One Central’ one of the largest and most exciting central city redevelopment opportunities in New Zealand together with suburban land and housing developments which we currently have underway. In all cases the vision is to create vibrant communities for our customers across a wide variety of typologies and lifestyle choices.
We are looking for a Development Manager with the experience and ability to manage the process throughout the project lifecycle, be it on one of the Super Lots within One Central or any other of our projects.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about Residential Development, from initial feasibility stage, design, sales & marketing strategy through to Delivery. The ideal candidate will have an astute understanding of the market, ideally coupled with prior experience working on mixed density residential developments. You will have a clear understanding of the development process along with a track record in successfully delivering projects through to completion.
You will understand the importance of developing strong relationships across various internal and external stakeholder groups. As such you will need to be able to display excellent communication and organisational skills along with the ability to collaborate and problem-solve with multiple parties, whilst ensuring you are always mindful of key requirements in relation to cost, quality management, health and safety and timely delivery of projects.
