The role
Our technical support and training function plays a vital role, in conjunction with Sales and Marketing, in taking Winstone Wallboards’ offerings to market. Reporting to the Technical Support and Training Manager, you will join a close-knit team of five and be based in our Penrose office, when not meeting with outside market groups. Your role will involve;
  • Ensuring that our materials, systems, and solutions are understood and used correctly by a range of market groups
  • Providing technical product support to a range of external customers such as Vocational Training Institutions, Builders, Fixers, Stoppers, Architect and Designers, and Key Customer Groups and Organisations
  • Delivering and supporting industry training programs, co-presenting at industry events
  • Providing customer support and technical advice over the phone, so you will need to be comfortable working in this environment too

About you
  • Experience in the commercial and/or residential building industry is essential, preferably with GIB® systems and products
  • Strong technical skills, comprehension, attention to detail, and expert communication skills
  • The ability to build rapport easily is essential
  • Your capacity to prioritise tasks and manage your time is key
