We have an exciting opportunity to join our Mico Sales Team in this permanent role. We’re looking for an experienced Sales Representative with a strong Sales background and preferably a good network within the building industry, to develop and foster relationships to secure Mico products into businesses in the plumbing and building sector.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and servicing the area from Nelson, through Richmond and Motueka, up to Golden Bay. You’ll work with existing customer accounts building long term customer relationships and maximising sales, whilst seeking out new business in a highly competitive market.
You’ll bring your natural relationship skills to this role, to ensure that our customers are provided with the ongoing exceptional levels of service they’ve come to expect from Mico. Your customer-centric and solutions-focused attitude to your customers and the business will ensure your success in this fast-paced role.
Your ability to build rapport and relationships will be your strength. Your existing network within the building industry would be beneficial, and while knowledge of our industry or related industries will be a huge benefit, being an agile learner will serve you well.
A strong personal and work ethic is essential, and you’ll operate according to the importance of giving your word to your customers and making them and their needs your priority. Being able to build positive work relationships with the team and work collaboratively with them, will contribute to your own success as much as to the success of our business.
The flexibility for travel is a must for this role, to stay in touch with your customers. Attending customer and company events is occasionally required, but we’re a business that’s mindful of a healthy work-life balance.
