ABOUT US

Clevercore New Zealand is a purpose-designed offsite manufacturing facility based in Wiri. We are building a new generation of homes for New Zealand and want to be the number one supplier of panellised homes designed specifically for manufacture. 

WHAT WE DO

We manufacture the walls and floors to go into Residential homes to save time on site and create a safer and better-quality product. Our clients come to us for homes that can be built faster, more accurately and with less waste.

THE ROLE

As a Plant Engineer based at our manufacturing plant in Wiri, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining plant and process equipment used to fabricate our panellised homes. You’ll be expected to complete preventative and predictive maintenance tasks across the plant and will be the first respondent for any {mechanical & electrical} related plant stoppages.  You will also be responsible for sharing knowledge across the production team to ensure everyone is aware of their responsibilities for maintenance in their specific production role.

ABOUT YOU

The preferred candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills & experience:

  • Mechanical and Electrical Trade (Fitter & Turner/Welder/Maintenance & Diagnostics)
  • Proven experience performing mechanical maintenance on machinery/plant in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Effective management of Contractors 
  • Driving Permit processes to ensure safe methods of work
  • PLC & CNC experience
  • The ability to assess situation and make sound and logical decisions
  • Strong communication skills with a consultative approach as you will be dealing with all types of stakeholders within the plant
  • Good computer literacy and an ability to pick up or learn new systems and software
  • OSH Certification and / or a forklift license are desirable but not essential
