We are currently looking for a Storeperson / HR Truck Driver to join our team based in Prospect, NSW. As the Storeperson/ Driver, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day distribution and customer deliveries. This is a full-time day shift position, with some flexibility required on either side. The hourly rate for this position is well above the award rate.
You will be repsonsible for delivering out stone products including stone benchtops, and you will split your time 50/50 between delivering in the truck and working as a picker in the warehouse - including forklift duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform customer deliveries with a standard run of 15-25 deliveries.
- Receive goods, pick, pack, and dispatch.
- Load and unload goods using a forklift (if licensed).
- Report any distribution issues or hazards.
- Perform basic administration tasks using the warehouse management system.
- Ensure tasks are completed in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.
Key Requirements:
- Essential to have a Heavy Rigid Truck Licence.
- Valid Forklift Licence (LF) or willing to obtain.
- Strong customer focus.
- Good computer literacy (preferred).
- Previous HR truck driving and LF forklift driving experience is required.
