Waipapa Pine, an integral part of FWP, is a sawmill located in Waipapa, Northland and produces a range of sawn timber products, including industrial and structural grades and a renewable fuels business. 

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join the Waipapa Pine team to be based onsite at the sawmill. You will be responsible for financial and management reporting requirements and to ensure compliance with company, statutory and taxation obligations; this extends to admin and financial control functions, including payroll, debtor, and creditor functions.
The role will also partner with the business and operational teams as appropriate to help drive important business decisions, deliver continuous improvement initiatives and drive improved business profitability.  

Qualifications, Skills & Experience we are looking for include;
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and legislation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
