The Role:
As an Account Manager at PlaceMakers on Waiheke Island you’ll play an integral part in keeping our valued customers on board & proactively find new business. Majority of your time would be spent looking after our current customer base, as well as growing your value and number of accounts.
You'll be heavily involved with regular touch points & result driven engagements. Collaborate with your team, communicate with customers around stock availability, delivery times and pricing. Maintaining our great customer relationships by regular visiting clients and attending networking events. You’ll be well supported & trusted to operate with flexibility in return for good results. You will be joining a supportive and diverse team of 7 in our Trade Sales department. Working alongside our 4 Trade Support Team members and 2 other Account Managers.
About You:

Someone who is community minded and enjoys working in a small team. The ideal candidate will need to live on the island. As you will play a lead role in developing brand awareness and capturing sales opportunities, your passion, sales drive, and resilience will be essential. In addition to this, you will also need to the demonstrate Excellent communication skills, as you will need to communicate at all levels. You will need to have a down to earth and solutions focused approach.
