Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role
The Masonry Sales & Operations Planner will be responsible for connecting the sales demand with the manufacturing capacity. There will be a requirement to deliver optimal plan that maximises business returns. You will be required to work closely with the National Production Planner and providing transparency on constraints, potential risks and opportunities through analysis, insights and reports to enable the business to derive sustainable value from its operations, in line with business strategy and requirements.
- To align demand with supply for the masonry business by leading demand planning, capacity planning and network optimization across the masonry business.
- To create and drive continuous improvement of the Sales and Operations Planning processes.
- To work collaboratively with the regional sales teams and national production planner to establish accurate inputs to the Sales and Operations Planning process that enhances business results.
- Analyse, interpret, and report on Sales and Operations Planning data to track accuracy and adherence to the plan, identify efficiency gains and optimize outputs.
- Produce deliverables including analysis, presentations, reporting and business cases in conjunction with other Masonry & Dricon team members.

- Experience with business analytics, operational performance management.
- Experience working in manufacturing an advantage.
- Sound business and financial understanding.
- Advanced level of proficiency and hands-on experience in MS-Excel, MS-Access, and MS PowerPoint to create, manage and manipulate data work with advanced functions such as macros, tables, queries, pivots, power pivots and presentations.
- Effective communication skills at multiple levels of the organisation, including management and cross-functional groups.
- Works effectively both independently and as a member of a cross functional team.
- Strong follow-through skills and acute attention to details.
- Must also be able to deal with ambiguity and make independent decisions about what data and approach is best for the task at hand.
- Ability to critically evaluate complex problems with a customer focus approach.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse and understand quantitative data and provide solutions to the business problem.
- Ability to work across organisation functions and teams.
