Group Technology acts as a centre of excellence to provide high quality insights, guidance and advice on all aspects of IT and technical infrastructure across Fletcher Building. The Group Communications team is responsible for driving effective communications that position Fletcher Building as an efficient, customer-leading and inclusive international company.
About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Manager to join Group Technology. You’ll be responsible for establishing and executing the communications plan for the Tech project to support the Change Management requirements across FB. The role actively collaborates with FB’s Corporate Communications organization and ensures the key communications channels are fully utilised and key stakeholders are engaged and fully informed.
The Communications Lead will build the communications content in line with the FB Communications standards to provide up to date information of the progress of the project, celebrating key milestones. The role will develop an FAQ and manage incoming communications as well as maintaining all communication channels.
About You
To be successful, we would look for someone with around 5 years’ experience in a communications role within a large, complex environment or ideally, with a Technology Change background. Naturally, we will be looking for someone with superior communication skills and an extensive set of proven skills and experience including:
- Demonstrated experience in communications strategy development and execution
- Experience working within a communications role in a large complex business and/or IT change programmes and projects
- Experience in managing cross functional teams to deliver internal communications projects
- Experience with multimedia, social media communications
- Proven relationship management skills at multiple levels
- Relevant tertiary qualification
