The Tradelink Opportunity
As a Commercial Analyst you will work closely with the Finance Business Partners and the Head of Commercial to provide commercial and financial decision support. You will develop and maintain a concise, insightful reporting framework covering all areas of the business supporting the Finance Business Partners in enabling fast, profitable decisions.
As a Commercial Analyst, here’s what your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Finance Business Partner to analyse data and determine business trends for the Tradelink Retail network
- Provide all relevant, accurate, timely and insightful information and financial reporting to achieve the required business objectives. This will include daily, weekly and monthly reporting for internal use as well as any ad hoc analysis that is required.
- Partner with key stakeholders across Tradelink and key Finance team members to understand the business and enable the Finance Business Partners to drive financial performance.
- Assisting with the budget and forecast processes as required.
- Answer and respond to queries and requests from teams as appropriate in accordance with SLAs.

This role would be perfect for a Commercial Analyst at the beginning of their career who is willing to learn and looking for an opportunity where they can grow their career. The ideal person will have one to two years' experience or will be close to completing their studies. With your key eye for detail, your ability to identify and communicate trends and your strong problem-solving capacity you will be perfect for this opportunity.
In addition to this you will need:
- A degree in Accounting/Commerce/Business/Economics or be currently studying one of those fields
- Be highly numerate with strong analytical skills
- Have an ability to work across multiple sites/locations
- Have an ability to work with multiple data sources and reporting tools
- Have experience in management accounting methods such as budgeting and variance analysis
- Have exceptional communication skills
