The Tradelink Opportunity

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, proactive Assistant Accountant with a desire to learn and progress a finance career with our National Finance Team based at Tradelink’s head office in Banyo.

Reporting to our Management Accountant you’ll have a varied role, with responsibilities including:
  • Month end reporting (journals and reconciliations);
  • Intercompany accounting;
  • GST and FBT returns;
  • Fixed Asset accounting;
  • National finance reporting and variance analysis;
  • Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

What matters most is that you’ll really care about your work, the customers, and the people you work with. You’ll also need:
  • Degree qualification in finance, business or commerce;
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a finance related role;
  • Commenced CPA/CA program, or intention to pursue in the near future;
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook;
  • Exceptional time management and communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Ability to work to deadlines;
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
