THE JOB


We are seeking a people-focused Production Supervisor to lead our talented team of home building technicians responsible for fabricating our next-generation homes. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible for driving a highly efficient operation with a strong team culture focused on standardization and continuous improvement. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Manage production planning and execution to ensure that targets are met and product produced in full, on time and in specification 
  • Direct team management of three dedicated Team Leaders and a team of technicians and leading hands including recruitment, training, development and performance reviews
  • People Development plan and execution
  • Ensure Health and safety, compliance and quality control standards are met
  • Ongoing continuous improvement and lean manufacturing focus
  • Promote a strong team culture and engagement


ABOUT YOU 


To be successful in your application you will need to be a dynamic people leader who thrives on coaching and mentoring a team. As our future Production Supervisor will have a keen interest in innovation and be able to think outside the box. Enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key! Other essential skills and experience include:

  • Extensive experience in management position(s) ideally within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong leadership capabilities and experience of dealing with a range of HR issues 
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to set expectations and structure for the team
  • A proven track record in maintaining Health and Safety and Quality standards
  • Strong IT and Admin experience
  • Full commitment to continuous improvement
