The Role
This role will coordinate with the Bid Lead / Submission Manager to develop and complete non-price attributes for tenders and maintain and carry out all tendering administration required for BPC’s Northern region New Business team.

You will support the procurement of new business by assisting the team with the production of high quality tender submissions, coordinating with Engineers, Estimators, Writers, Designers and the resource library. Another key focus for this role will be to assist in maintaining the prospect management database and attribute library.

We’re looking for a self-starter who can work autonomously, but just as importantly be a team player and ultimately be the glue that holds the new business team together in a timely and effective manner. 

The key duties include:
  • Providing a range of support and coordination activities to the New Business team from opportunity capture through to prospect administration
  • Assisting with the preparation of tender submissions including EOIs, ROIs, RFPs, and RFTs within specified deadlines
  • Identifying key drivers for each submission, ensuring it is relevant, reflects the brief, and is in the agreed format
  • Liaising with all parties involved in production of proposals including other Fletcher business units 
  • Following up tender submissions with consultants and clients
  • Managing all incoming/outgoing documentation.

To be successful in this role you ideally have the following:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A relevant tertiary qualification and preferably experience within the construction industry or from a consulting background
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Strategic thinking, planning, and coordinating ability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional organisational skills.
