Description:

About us
The Fletcher Building family is a community made up of people who use all their experience, skills and individuality to do amazing work. We are listed on both the NZX and ASX and have some 30 businesses across New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific. We are firm believers in attracting and retaining talented people from diverse backgrounds, with different perspectives and experiences, to enable new ways of thinking that drive growth and deliver customer outcomes.

About the role
We have an excellent opportunity for someone to join our Group Finance & Performance team to proactively manage Fletcher Building Group’s financial consolidation and reporting process, using our Financial Consolidation System, Hyperion to ensure that accurate, timely and insightful reporting and analysis is available to support Divisional and Corporate Management.

This is to be achieved under a backdrop of appropriate financial and internal controls and best practice, applicable with running a Group Consolidation.

This is a fundamental role in delivering control assurance and performance measurement to internal stakeholders including the Board, Chief Executives, Divisional CFOs and Group Finance teams.

About you
To be considered, you’ll hold a relevant tertiary qualification and you'll be working towards a CA or CFA qualification. This will be coupled with at least 2 years' experience in reporting and systems administration, and a proven ability to find practical solutions to at times complex problems.

Critical to your success will be your exceptional relationship management and communication skills as you’ll be dealing with many different stakeholders of varying levels of seniority.

What we offer
In addition to joining a highly ambitious and engaged team, this role presents an opportunity to join a wider finance team where there is a clear path, and a strong leadership team, who are focused on attracting, retaining and developing their people in a driven and diverse workforce.
