We’re looking for someone special for the role of Head of Fletcher Reinforcing where you will be responsible for providing overall leadership, direction and management of  the team and the business. This is a great leadership opportunity, operating under the framework of Fletcher Building, and within the Fletcher Steel family of businesses.

Who will you be? This is a senior leadership role, so it’s likely that you’ll be able to demonstrate the following - 
  • A strong business acumen with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Use of outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in diverse environments and lead in an inclusive way which provides genuine opportunities for all our employees.
  • A natural affinity to utilising data and insights to drive commercial performance 
  • Experience in developing and executing successful business strategies, with an ability to lead with a laser focus on those strategies through multiple levels of the organisation. 
  • Significant experience in a senior leadership role in either the construction/manufacturing environment or in a role where there are managing multiple stakeholders is the norm. You may have worked under the Construction Contracts Act or a similar environment.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for Fletcher Reinforcing in line with the overall Fletcher Steel strategy
  • Actively work to develop positive and functional relationships within the leadership team and contribute to national initiatives in line with specific areas of interest and expertise. 
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Continue to build towards best practise with regards to health, safety, and environment
  • Create and implement business strategies with regards to markets, operations, employees, capital, and assets which maximize the long-term profitability and sustainability of the business
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability by identifying new business opportunities and developing strong relationships with key customers
  • Manage and lead the Fletcher Reinforcing team to achieve the company's goals and objectives
