The Senior Cloud Designer (Linux) role is a senior technical position with our Core Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for the delivery and support of GCP (Google Cloud platform) along with hosted Linux systems across our Public and Private Cloud instances. 

Fletcher Building’s digital transformation is deploying our enterprise systems on GCP and this role is critical in developing and supporting the GCP platform, hosted Linux systems and associated services. The role includes writing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using tools such as Terraform and responsibility for managing the configuration of infrastructure and servers using tools such as Ansible.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a Senior Cloud Designer (Devops/SRE) with proven experience with Cloud and Linux in a large complex environment.

Providing technical leadership across Cloud technologies and Linux services you will be at the forefront of enabling our Digital transformation platforms.

We’re looking for someone with experience working in an infrastructure-focused role who has a passion for Cloud best practice and automating services.
