The Role:
We are looking for Someone to work a dual role as Inwards Goods & Showroom Team Member at our Albany Branch.
As Inwards goods/Customer service Team Member you will be responsible for accurately checking and receipting product within our inwards goods area. This will include utilising our internal systems and digital technology to track and log daily deliveries, loading and unloading trucks while keeping safety at the forefront.
As a showroom Team Member, you’re the first point of contact at our Trade Counter and Showroom, you will interact daily with our customers who are the heart and soul of our business. You will be a people person thriving most when supporting our customers, so they get a winning in-store experience. You will build and maintain effective relationships with them by being solutions focused, offering product support and technical information. You will also play a vital part in direct sales with customers, getting orders pulled and ready for dispatch, and merchandising and maintaining aisles within the Branch.
This is a full-time permanent role offering great working hours. Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5pm and working 1 weekend day a month. This role does also offer some flexibility with the hours worked.
About you:
You enjoy working as part of an inclusive team within a fast-paced environment and building rapport with everyone you interact with. We would love someone to come from a retail background, however it is your customer service experience that will be most valuable. For this role you need to have good computer skills and ability to learn new systems. You would need to have great organisational skills and be comfortable with manual handling. Positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong eye for detail. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. We are looking for someone who is self-driven and able to work autonomously, however also works well with in a team environment.
