The Role:
As an Account Manager at PlaceMakers in Pakuranga you’ll play an integral part in proactively finding new business. This role will see you grow your ledger by growing your value and number of accounts. You'll be heavily involved with regular touch points & result driven engagements. Collaborate with your team, communicate with customers around stock availability, delivery times and pricing. You’ll go to building industry & trade events to keep up to date with market trends & attract new business. Maintaining our great customer relationships by regular visiting clients and attending networking events. You’ll be well supported & trusted to operate with flexibility in return for good results. You will be joining a supportive and diverse team of 3 Account Managers in Pakuranga and part of the wider Account Manager team across the South-East Hub. 

About You:
We’re looking for someone who ideally has sales experience in the Trade industry and who has product knowledge to capture every opportunity. As you will play a lead role in developing brand awareness and capturing sales opportunities, your passion and knowledge of the trade industry as well as your sales drive and resilience will be essential. In addition to this, you will also need to the demonstrate excellent communication skills, as you will need to communicate at all levels. Highly motivated with exceptional work ethic. You will need to have a down to earth and solutions focused approach. Focused on long term, credible relationships with proven sales methodology. You will need to be outgoing and thrive working in a close team environment.
