About Us

If we could have it our way, people would talk a little less about housing and a lot more about living. That's because we believe the Kiwi dream is bigger than a quarter acre. It’s about living the life you want. So, we create neighbourhoods designed to nurture living in all its beauty, richness and variety.

Why join us?

We’re a high performing and innovative business and are proud to say that we have a highly engaged and successful team. We know diversity doesn't just make great neighbourhoods, it builds great companies, so we encourage everyone to bring their full and genuine selves to work. It’s an exciting time to join Fletcher Residential as we continue to expand our businesses and develop our people whilst championing wellbeing. As part one of New Zealand’s largest Residential Developers and Builders, you will have access to continued support and training with great opportunities for ongoing career development.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of People and Performance, your focus as a Talent Acquisition Business Partner will be on attracting and sourcing the best in the business and driving a genuine talent mind-set across our organisation, so we’re looking for an experienced and innovative business partner to join us (within a small but tight-knit P&P team).

In this role you will take ownership in proactively establishing relationships with hiring managers, truly partnering with the business to provide strategic insights and recommendations on best practice. You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process; from briefing to sourcing and attracting, ensuring that every candidate (including those who are unsuccessful) have an exceptional experience throughout. The types of roles you will recruit will vary so you will be adept at working at pace whilst multitasking and prioritising your workload.

In addition to the day-to-day recruitment, this role will provide you with the opportunity to collaborate with the wider Fletcher Building Talent Acquisition team and contribute to key projects focusing on areas such as talent attraction strategies, inclusion and diversity, internal mobility and employment branding.

About You

You will be an experienced recruiter with excellent communication skills who is excited about a new challenge.  We are open minded, and value fit within our team and culture above a qualification or a certain number of years of experience.  At times you may need to navigate uncertainty and should feel comfortable forging new relationships with key stakeholders and establishing collaborative partnerships with hiring managers. Your expert guidance is not only welcomed but encouraged!

We value diversity and innovation, so we welcome new ideas to and ways to provide the best possible candidate and hiring manager experience.  You will need to be curious and creative, passionate about what you do, and have a willingness to flex your skills and roll your sleeves up…  This role will provide you with autonomy within a supportive and flexible environment.  Oh, and you’ll need to enjoy having some fun at the same time (we work hard, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously)!

Benefits

Along with a competitive salary and rewarding incentive scheme, this role will see you working with a high-performing team with a clear vision and goals. You’ll also enjoy the security, benefits, and recognition that come with working for a well-respected business unit within the Fletcher Building Group.

Application Process

Applications should be made by submitting a CV and cover letter outlining your interest, motivation, and what you would bring to this role by way of background, experience, and fit for the role and our team. Please apply online.

*Please note: Applications will not be reviewed until the week commencing 18th September so please expect to hear from us after that date.*

We want our teams to reflect the wonderfully diverse communities that we create: where differences in gender, gender identity, age, race, nationality, sexual orientation, physical ability, thinking style and background are welcomed and celebrated.
