About the role
The PMO (Project Management Office) Specialist ensures that portfolio, programme, and project outputs across FletcherTech are fit for purpose and capable of delivering the value required by our customers. The role is responsible for implementing effective governance processes to manage quality and risk across the programs and projects. 

The role is critical in ensuring value-add delivery and business outcomes. The PMO Specialist leverages data to provide key insights, improve decision-making, and optimise project performance.  

About you
You’ll have at least 5 years’ experience within a PMO environment managing stakeholder engagement and supporting projects to ensure adherence to the correct lifecycle and governance processes and standards, providing guidance and ensuring quality reviews.  Your previous experience with operational reporting using data analytics to identify trends in the data and gain insights into project performance is a must.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following:

  • An understanding of programme and project delivery within a Waterfall/Agile environment providing quality assurance to the programme.
  • Knowledge of PMO tools such as MS Project, JIRA, ServiceNow PPM.
  • Experience in Risk Management.
  • Expertise and passion for value-add business outcomes and continuous delivery of value, to implement a right-sized benefit realisation model.
  • Experience in building out operational reporting by deep diving into data, addressing data gaps, and leveraging results for insights that target value.
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, information Technology or Management Information Technology coupled with a PMO qualification including PSP & Prince 2 Practitioner (essential) or direct equivalent.
  • Experience with using data analytical tools such as Qlik, Power BI, and emerging analytical tools advantageous.
