The Role:
Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an experienced EHS professional that will work as a trusted Business Partner between our national safety function and our Auckland and Northland branch network, taking annual safety plans and core standards and supporting the branches to apply these. You’ll report to the EHS Manager and be given full autonomy to be hands-on supporting safety training, investigations, and compliance to ultimately inspire, engage and develop our people to shape mindsets and drive behavioural change.
As this role has a regional focus, travelling throughout Auckland and Northland will be required on a regular basis to support key stakeholders, however you would need to be based in Auckland.

About You:
We are looking for an individual with excellent stake-holder management experience and the ability to work with a diverse range of people to influence our safety journey - the goal of which is to ensure that all injuries are prevented. We are looking for someone with a strong background in H&S Management and a passion for training development and delivery.
This role will ideally suit someone who wants to feel deeply connected to the organisation they work for, and it will be your ability to influence and shift mindsets which will result in your success. Ideally, you'll have 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role with proficient knowledge of NZ Health and Safety legislation and Codes of Practice.
