Our Mico Alexandra store is a busy branch which has enjoyed numerous ‘Branch of the Year’ nominations over the past 9 years and is run by a team of hardworking, dedicated and loyal staff.
About the role:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday. This pivotal role plays an integral part in maximising sales opportunities, exceeding monthly targets and building long-term customer relationships.
You will be responsible for building relationships and liaising with them on a regular basis. Key to the role will be understanding their needs and providing solutions, receiving, and quoting on large orders, ordering products to specific time frames for their projects and communicating delivery times and availability of products where required.
You will be juggling a number of tasks at any one time, along with problem solving, whilst ensuring everything operates smoothly and efficiently. To do this, you will need to think quickly on your feet, be extremely well organised and able to prioritise, be service-driven and solution-oriented. Your communication and time management skills with be paramount and, above all, customer service expertise will be paramount.
About you:
To shine in this role, you’ll bring a customer-focused attitude and strong work ethic to the business. The ability to build rapport and relationships should be your strength and you’ll be computer savvy too. Trade industry/plumbing knowledge and/or product experience would be hugely beneficial, but your attitude, personality, strong character and resilience is what really matters!
You will be an engaging and adaptable individual, able to build rapport and effectively communicate at all levels, whilst being customer-centric and an awesome team player.
