The role:
This role as Workforce Specialist at PlaceMakers would see you support and build the workforce capability, as well as implement our process within the branch network across New Zealand. You will take ownership of maintaining the Workforce model, generating reports, and ensuring an optimal structure across all our branches.
You will partner with the business to objectively challenge all routines and processes that are not optimised, using workforce model data to support underlying improvement opportunities, and driving the best practice to match customer needs and drive efficiencies. Understanding our strategic direction and goals, you’ll provide advice that supports the development of new practices and streamlines existing ones to improve business productivity at all levels.
This role is a full-time permanent role offering hours a week. Based at our National Office in Penrose, Auckland.
About you:
Your pragmatic mindset and relationship skills will prove invaluable, as you collaborate with your team and your peers, as well as building and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders. Success in this role is about having a solutions-focused and customer-centric approach, and a collaborative style of work. This role would suit a person who has previously had hands-on experience in Workforce planning and able to convert data into insights. As well as understands retail principles or distribution operations and processes.
As well as a strong background in Workforce, you will need to have a good balance of data modelling and data analytics and stakeholder management.
We are looking for someone who is an effective and confident communicator with the ability to develop relationships with important senior level stakeholders. This piece is critical as you will play a large part of gaining buy in with our Branch Network, supporting the change and ensuring you are along the journey with them throughout.
