About the opportunity
The Network and UC Engineer sits within the Technology Operations function and is responsible for small projects and Level 2 tier technical network/voice support for UC and Network services to internal customers across the Fletcher Building Group. The services include Cisco Voice, LAN and wireless network solutions, as well as Fortinet SD-WAN and Amazon Connect Contact centre services.  Take ownership of incidents and problems associated with network and UC services including configuration, problem diagnosis, maintenance repair and replacement of equipment to ensure a great customer experience. 

About you
You will have a commitment to exceptional customer service to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions to the business. While general networking experience across Cisco LAN and Wi-Fi is required, preference will be given to engineers with experience on Cisco Call Manger and some AWS Connect is advantageous.  

Your previous experience will include:  
  • At least 2 years’ experience with CISCO Voice, LAN/WAN network solutions & UC & Network Services.  
  • Managing incidents (maintaining SLAs), Change Controls, Projects via Service Now.
  • Providing technical support for voice solutions with Cisco Call Manager.
  • Configuration, deployment, and support of Cisco switches.
  • Support of Cisco Wireless LAN controller and access points
  • Physical installation of equipment, maintenance & repairs
  • Fortinet Firewall and AWS Connect Contact centre solutions skills would be advantageous.
