Rocla – A member of the Fletcher Building group is a leading Australian supplier of concrete solutions to the building and construction industry. We merged with our sister company Iplex Pipelines in 2018 and together we are one of the largest Australian suppliers of pipes, fittings and civil infrastructure solutions with a combined 176 years’ of experience and a national footprint that can manufacture and distribute in all states.

The role
We are currently searching for a Territory Sales Manager to join the Rocla Poles business located in Western Sydney You will be responsible for both servicing existing customer contracts and securing new customer contracts in our chosen markets. In servicing existing customers, you will provide outstanding customer service and ensure our solutions add significant value to our customers. Working with external engineering consultants and our internal engineering team, you will be in a position to influence the specifications in upcoming projects and play a part in the full project lifecycle.

You will be responsible for the delivery of high quality technical services and products to meet the needs of our customers with a genuine emphasis being placed on outstanding customer service. Rocla Poles services and products are technically unique and are delivered to customers in multiple market segments including: telecommunications, electrical transmission and distribution and the building and construction industry. 

About you
You will have an engineering/technical background with a proven track record in working closely with customers to first understand their requirements and then offer solutions in the form of products and services. Having an understanding of estimating and pricing you will be comfortable in being provided with customer specifications and converting these into simple but concise proposals and quotes. 

You will be a positive and ‘driven’ individual who can develop genuine long term relationships with key customers and understand that our business is about adding value to our customers business and helping them to succeed. You will also be able to quickly relate to the Fletcher Building values and understand that these guide us on a daily basis.
