Ko tā mātou mahi | Our Role

Our People & Performance Business Partners, are key members of the business and you will play a crucial role in shaping our workplace culture, ensuring it remains inclusive, supportive, and aligned with our core values.

Your responsibilities will include but limited to:

  • Contribute to the development of the BU People Strategy, priorities and plans that align to divisional and group strategies
  • Manage remuneration, job analysis and evaluation, remuneration changes, annual review
  • Industrial Relations execution; represent the BU in dealings with union and employer organisations and industrial courts
  • Communicate and coach line managers and employees on People processes and ensure information and resources are accessible
  • Day to day management of ER problems, disputes or issues including IR/ER negotiations, disciplinary, termination, restricting and grievances.

Ngā Pūmanawa | What You Will Bring

  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing people strategy.
  • Proven track record in generalist Human Resources management, operating effectively with teams within an organisation  
  • Tertiary qualification in People or related field
  • Project management experience with the ability to manage projects from inception to completion
  • Proven experience in managing relationships and developing and maintaining personal credibility with stakeholders
  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of core People processes (e.g., performance management; talent management) and their application / use as levers for driving business performance
  • Practical knowledge of employment legislation, employment relations and industrial relations experience, including, sound knowledge of country specific employment legislation
