We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineering Manager to join our team in Auckland. The Project Engineering Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing engineering projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team and contribute to the success of exciting projects across New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and procurement, to develop project plans and schedules.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, resolving engineering challenges and optimizing project performance.
• Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and cost control measures to ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, to support project objectives.
• Implement best practices in project management and engineering processes to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Ngā Pūmanawa | What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in project management, with a focus on engineering projects in the construction or heavy industry sector.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Sound understanding of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with project management tools and software
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations
